Now I'll Have It Stuck In My Head All Weekend

Marty Schwimmer: "The family of the Zulu composer of the song 'Mbube,' the basis for the song 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight,' have sued Disney in South Africa for royalties. Disney used the song in its 'Lion King.'" Here's the back story of the "Wimoweh" song, and a report from Independent Online, South Africa.

Berry Interesting

Alexander Lubarsky: "Gone are the days of 'going back to the precinct to run the prints.'" (Thanks Sabrina, whose post pointer to Alex still tops him in the search for "e-discovery blog," but doubtless not for long.)

Today's New Blawgs

I couldn't resist pointing to the California Labor and Employment Law Blog when its author emailed to ask for a link and "any other relief [I] deem necessary."

Also new to me is the 17200 blog, UCL Practitioner. Great topic to focus on. Interesting news yesterday from the California Supreme Court on the subject.

Finally, I've been remiss in not mentioning Chris Rush Cohen's IP and cyberlaw blog before now. Good stuff over there from a Cardozo 3L.
